VHX ActiveX wraps VLC media player into an out-of-process ActiveX component for use with OLE/COM languages. VLC media player is a free and open-source, portable, cross-platform media player software developed by the VideoLAN project. This implementation is a robust and stable wrapper of VLC media player for apartment threading programs, which implements a different instantiation model vs. default VLC ActiveX.
